i had the same problem when i fitted barkbusters . fixed it by drilling and tapping the original bar end weights , got a couple of m8 countersunk bolts and bolted the barkbusters directly to the old weights , hey presto vibes gone .:D

I can vouch for filling the bars with silicone, unless the bike is not heavy enough for you and you need the extra weight !!!. The silicone completley damps the resonance through the bar, I have been doing this for years on 2 and 4 strokes. Just a word of warning, most OEM bars, including the Tenere have small holes drilled under the throttle and indicator mounts to act as a locating point. If you do not remove the mounts and tape up the holes you will find that silicone will fill them, not good!
