Depends on youre skill, i go out in the snow just for the fun of it as im sure a lot of us do.
I ride a Ten and it handles better on the slippy stuff better than any bike ive ever ridden, and low slides well (Minimal damage).

There is an older guy who really LOVES riding any kind of motor bike, he make this track on the ice outside his house every winter and invites people to come and play...
He also snowploughed a 2km long straight track for top speed testing...

Last weekend was amazing here in mid Sweden. A couple of degrees cold and sunny. The lakes has frozen so I had to try the XT on the ice.
Even though the spikes in the tyres are 6-7mm long it�s very hard to get enough with traction....

This weekend I spend on the ice together with 20 other bikes....

I followed my friend on his KTM 690 for a while and I did 130km/h as max!!

would be great to have your own land/lake to do that really does look fab...

Just an observation the riders head looks super imposed doesn't budge an inch what was the cam actually mounted on
