good tankbag solution
 

hi
ive been kitting out me tenere with a few bit id like to add

ive been useing a sw motech small tank bag on me other bikes

and its turned out perfrct for use on the ten

its really handy for bits and peices ..toll fares mp3 glasses
butties firstaid kit ..blah blah especially if you are local and riding without luggage
it a small bag i think they call it a daybag

it carries a fair bit of stuff ..and it has a clip on mapholder which is really good for survey maps and stuff

another lucky break with this bag is that it doesnt interfere when your standing on the pegs
and the fancy petrol tank locker stops any rubbing and is very secure


anyway it fits the tenere a treat except for the key position problem

i found a simple solution of clamping a small bolt throug the key with nuts and rubber washers
when the bags on its easy to lever the key to swith off as it comfortably clears the bag

Does the Tank Bag touch the key? I have the GIVI TH02 and while the bag fits the actual fitting mechanism touches the key and put pressure on it. I worried in rough stuff it could vibrate the key off, or bend the key etc. Does the SWM tank ring/bag combo clear the key?
