Yamaha Large Tuning Fork Decal/Sticker

Does anyone know where to buy the large Yamaha tuning fork decal/stickers? I have searched on here, Ebay, Google and cannot find a seller.

Are they a stock item or is it a special?

There are 2 versions either are great and I want 2.

Never saw them anywhere either.
The german forum had some done by a member.

Mine are made from Vinyl by a friend who has a small company doing decals and advertising:

I have found a site who make them "off the shelf" a company called Awesome Graphics. The large tuning fork logo in 250mm x 250mm cost 3.99 a pair and you get load of colour options and they ship anywhere in the world if anyone else is interested 3 for recorded delivery in the UK. The link is below.

I have done a few mock ups for my bike to see which I prefer and have decided to go with a lighter blue to compliment the blue panels.

MOCK UPS not actual decal. Proper photos to follow once I have fitted them.

Really like the white logo, makes it stand out so much more.

Yeah, white but bigger and thicker and get rid of the OE Yam logo on the top of the rad covers (?) and some white rim stripe tape ... that'll really ZING

Awesome bike! Anybody know what that shiny bit of bling behind the cooling fan is?

The decals arrived today so I have fitted them. I am very impressed with them, the weather is not ideal to be fitting them but they are on and I am happy with the result. They are chunkier than the image on the suppliers website which I actually prefer as well. Just a reminder these are the 250mm (10" square) ones. Better photos to come once its daylight.

See the link in the second post I made in this thread. A company called Awesome Graphics.

A couple of better photos in the daylight.

Its quite subtle, less so in person but on the photos its harder to see. I am happy with them though. I am going to get some blue reflective pre curved 10mm rim tape on as well and that will finish the bike off (for me).

i like that tony, looks really good
you wouldn't know its the same bike
well done

richardsracingmad 05-12-10 09:00

you've done a great job on that bike Tony.....

if you could spray some gauze the same light blue, and put it behind the cut outs in the tank fairing, that to me would make it look more unified....or at least something else that light blue colour......rim tape, stickers, rear grab bars or headlight fairing

Cheers, I am going to sort our some rim tape. I have done a couple of mock ups (lots of spare time you see as there is no riding going on whilst its lethal on the roads by me). Just considering 7mm (thin) or 10/11mm (thick) tape either way its going to be flourescent.

What does anyone prefer?

Thin

richardsracingmad 05-12-10 09:28

the thicker tape....light blue!!!!! lol (do a mock up if you can?)

Kamikuza 05-12-10 09:53

+1 thicker tape, lighter colour ... that really zings! What a beauty!

Tony660x 05-12-10 13:17

Just ordered a set of reflective blue 10mm width tape. Its limited in shade options but I really wanted reflective pre curved type so went for the best I could see.

Once I get them I shall fit and take a fresh picture or two.

Well the rim tape arrived yesterday and I have fitted it as well. I am really happy with the tape, 10mm, precurved and reflective. 5.25 delivered from Ebay.
