Mitas CO2- Rated
By far the best offroad rear tyre I've used to date.
Wearing well too at least on a par with an MT21. I paired it with a Mitas C19 for trailriding and a couple of LDTs.I have absolute confidence in em.This combination is not too clever on tarmac obviously especially in the wet, I was lazy and left them on for the 50 mile, dark, wet commute.........not something I'll be doing again. I'm still running the rear paired with a Distanzia on the front.Feels okay on tarmac, no nasty moments and I can use the front brake again! Any recommendations for a more suitable front tyre appreciated. |
I'm using a TKC80 front with the C02. Seems ok. :102:

Thats the combo i use on my ktm 400exc ,just changed them for a new set due to the weather conditions now ,i done 1500 miles on them and they are still only half worn ,keeping them for the summer months to put back on when the ground is harder and drier

I'm impressed with how long the CO2 is lasting,so far I reckon between 1500 and 2000miles and not even half worn yet.
I kept it on most of the winter because my commute is on narrow, muddy country lanes where road tyres would have me constantly on the lookout for hazards plus the last thing I want if it snows is to be stuck at work. Not as stable as a tkc or MT21 on the road but leagues ahead offroad and looking like it will wear about the same. |
Got a Michelin T63 front and C02 rear now. Good on tarmac at the front and I would recon an ideal combo would be both T63s. I had them on a Transalp and off road were very good and tarmac were equally as good.
