Replacing Parking light bulb ?

hi i need advice about replacing parking light bulb in headlight.
Recently i installed Bi-Xenon lights so now i hate this cheep yellow bulb.
I read manual from first to last page and all i could find is that bulb is 12V 5W. serched forum but couldn't find nothing illustrated :D

Could anyone provide me a picture of bulb, so i don't have to take front light off bike - take bulb out - drive bike like that all around city until i find it... ?
links to web shops also welcomed :)

what i found on google is this:
http://www.gamestone.co.uk/bike/bike...s_lighting.php - is this same type of bulb that XTX use ?

thanks ;)

Yea those are the ones, but just make sure they are the correct size (cant remember what they are called) but if they are for a bike im pretty sure they would be the same. Had to replace mine about a year ago as it blow, went to my local garage (does mainly cars) and it was this type i needed but he had a load of different sizes like this. The car types have a metal end and will not fit (yes i tried):icon_thumright:

The end of the bulb is not plastic, the glass of the bulb just flattens, and the two metal wires fold over the end....

I think :-P

hi, the automotive bulb type is known as a '501' 12v/5w capless, so a search for a '501 led' on the likes of ebay should do the trick.

i did mine on the tenere, far better job! nice crisp and bright. complements the 35w hid dip beam just nicely!
