No indicators or horn and i think the headlight as well

pulled the bike out this morning for work and i seem to have a bit of a problem!

I have no indicators (or hazards) horn and i think the main beam is working either but im not sure, tail light and brake light is fine, as is everything else (so i rode to work anyway!)

have checked fuses and they all seem fine, and as far as i remember it was fine when i rode it home yesterday!

Gonna go over it tonight when i get home but anything in particular i should look out for

Thanks

This happened to me once, and it was caused by correded wires in the loom under the tank, lift the tank up and inspect all the wiring joints for corrosion, and after a clean up and wd-40 it should be ok. You might need a tester.

The same happend to me:

After a clean and WD 40 all back to normal.

Yep i would spend a good few hrs in there cleaning all the connectors and also placing a silicone/rubber based glue on the ends as some of the cables and not stripped very well and have bared cable before they go into the connnector blocks.

I had my kill switch cable corrode right the way through in there, had my local mechanic find the fault and fix it. His comments about the electrics can not be repeated on here:021:

Well turned out to be even easier than expected, when routing the new throttle cables last week i obviously had them in slightly (did it in a bit of a rush)the wrong place and i had managed to seperate the plug for the left hand switchgear completely!

Re- routed the cables, taking my time this time and now alot better

Thanks all

If youve a bit of spare time i'd still advice you to clean out and silcone the connectors on the left hand side of the tank. Also while your at it there are a few connectors on the RHS behind the black side cover which are also exposed to being cover in crap.
