yeah...you have about 45 miles left APPROX on F TRIP...if you hit the reset/select (i think) it will go back to normal....it certainly does after refuel....

Owner's Manual

the f trip is just an automatic trip meter that starts when your fuel light comes on telling you how many miles youve clocked up while on your fuel light.

I think if you just push select it will make the F trip flash then hit reset and it will 0 it. Same idea as when you reset your trip meter.

when you refuel bike the fuel trip disappear

When the fuel light comes on the trip automatically switches to f-trip which records the miles travelled with the light on. (beware, I've run my r out after 30 miles with light on!) After fuelling up and the light going out and you've travelled seven miles the trip will return to previous setting. It will also revert to previous setting at any time you press select.

With your ignition on john pressing the select button scrolls between trip 1, trip 2, and fuel trip (if light on). Pressing and holding reset button will zero whichever is displayed at the time. The fuel trip can be reset like this or left untill youve done 7 miles after the fuel light has gone out (after filling up) and it will revert back to trip 1 or trip 2, whichever it was on before.

Dave.. I just tried it there,, an when i hold the button that ye said,, my MPH changes to KMS.??? I tried the other button,,, then my clock starts flashing ???

maxwell123455 20-09-10 09:20

With the ignition on you push the select button quickly and release it, dont hold it on for any length of time, this should then flash your trip meter, then push and hold for a wee second the reset button, this will 0 your trip, then push the select button again quickly, this should then move on to the next trip meter, same again push and hold reset for a wee second.

If you put the bike from mph to kmph just hold down the select button for a wee second and it should change over again to mph.
