Custom Soft Luggage Rack
I'm not fond of pannier boxes when doing off road trips and as such bought some Kappa soft panniers and a Kappa cylindrical tail bag,
To allow easy and secure fitment I designed a simple Ally rack. It bolts onto the rear of the Tenere and works a treat. I made the side pieces removable so If I don't need to much luggage on a trip I simply remove them and only use my tail bag. It was laser cut from 4.5mm Aluminium I still need to have the rack anodised in black. Well done Jules, i agree on the soft luggage. In process of re-doing my top rack and pannier racks for my R as well. So when it is done i will post somepics too. What do you keep in those extra barrels below exhaust...tools?...fuel. Did you attach them to the bolts holding your gazorts? GB |
Lookin' mighty fine! Great when ya got the skills to design and make such goodies!
