Nology Ignition Cable !!

Hello everyone,
Last month I bought a Nology ignition cable from Germany,
Yesterday I installed on my bike.when I First start...sound like a 640 KTM
(hear blast sound).then I have a DNA Stg2 filter and sound change.
and all rpm ranges are going aggressive.
I dont know here a dynometer but it was change something good.
Kev my friend my idea you have to try this before coil
because you bike big bore and you need to big spark (recommanded iridium spark plug).sorry to my english I hope I could tell..:)

If you got the money the iridium spark plug will offer longer service intervals, there is no HP gain from the spark plugs.

Iridium sparg plugs, only for good burning and if its burning good better fuel performance am I thing wrong ??
I wanted to say when you turn the throttle, good and quick reponse at all rpm range no HP gain
Just I told what I feel when I ride
I hope I will tell good :)

Thanks for your feed back.

Zaburtante,
I am saw, You bought Nology ignition cable.
What parts number is it?
What is cost?

Use NGK CR9EKPA ....we have found up to 1.5 hp in this plug on the dyno(no B.S... though some bikes do not gain at all), Mainly in higher rpm's but it burns more stable. IR does nothing over stock plug

Thanks for the tip Daniel.

I would like to share my experience on my standard 2008 MT-03 with O2 sensor (shares basically the same engine as the XT, which is why I joined!). Due to its hesitant running at part and constant throttle openings between about 4,000 and 6,000 rpm and occasional unexpected stalling someone more knowledgeable than me suggested I use the NGK CR8EK spark plug (same electrode appearance as that recommended by DI700, but no Platinum). I have used this for a few months now and can say there has been a reduction in the severity of the hesitant running which now occurs between about 4,500 and 5,500 rpm. The bike doesn't stall unexpectedly and the engine generally feels more responsive. What the knowledgeable person was trying to do was to position the spark for better combustion, which is important for modern lean burn engines (NGK also go on about this in their literature). He suggested the CR8EK design as a low risk change as it slightly changes the spark position further into the combustion chamber without actually changing the overall projection of the plug into the combustion chamber compared to the standard CR7E. Also the ground electrodes of CR8EK don't shroud the spark compared to the standard CR7E, which may also help. He went one grade colder 7 to 8 as the position of the centre electrode in the new plug is probably more exposed to higher temperatures than standard. He said if the spark position is important then a projected plug could be tried (apparently owners of BMW single F650 have done this with positive results) however this needs to done with extreme caution and extensive knowledge of this engine due to possible interference and thermal issues in the combustion chamber, which if got wrong could result in a wrecked engine. Unfortunately the knowledgeable person doesn't have sufficient knowledge of this engine to say whether this could be tried or not. Has anybody with extensive knowledge of this engine tried a projected plug and or a plug where the spark is less shrouded or other plug design or other manufacturer with good results? Also in the link below for the Nology ignition cable it says the XT doesn't have the strongest spark. Is this actually true? It seems zaburtante reported an improvement with a cable change. Does anyone think there is any benefit in uprating the coil as well if this is possible?

ive tried upgrading the coil on a Raptor 700(same head and similar electronics) to a Dynatek coil but found no performance gains, we do however change the plug wire itself to a standard automotive style wire about 1k ohm per foot... eliminating the 10k ohm resistor in the wire cap end of OEM..... this provides a slight spark energy increase at little to no cost,,, no ill effect noticed over a long period of time....only smoother power in higher rpm's and easier starts

I used Dl700 spark plug recommendation, stage 1&2 DNA, GYTR cans, Kev fuel mod, snorkel mod, AIS blocked and it has made a difference for sure. I feel more torque than power. Worth a try.

Pulstar plasma core plugs

Has anyone tried using the Pulstar Plasma Core spark plug? I've just got one, but can't ride the bike now until spring, so can't comment on what difference, if any, it makes. Link here https://pulstar.com
