Spare Wires
 

Hi All

First post so take it easy.

I have an XT660X (Despite medical advice). Today I lifted up the seat to have a nosey for the first time and at the back right there are two spare sets of wires, both terminated (one on a round termination and the other a square block)

Any ideas what they are for ?

The square block is fused to the immobilisor (I think). The other one is possibly for any yamaha accessories. Kev? Anyone?

They are used to wire up the Alarm, 2 pin connector is for the indicator signal & the 4 pin for + - & signal wire to the ECU. They should be on the left side of the bike not on the right as you mentioned.
