Hi dewill,
you can allso adjust the TPS with a volt meter, with the engine at the correct idle speed you connect a volt meter to the wires coming out of the sensor, push a probe into the rear of the yellow wire and connect the positive of the meter, and push a probe into the rear of the black/blue wire and connect the negitive of meter.(DO NOT LET ANY OF THE WIRES SHORT OR GO TO GROUND) The voltage at idle should be 0.63 volts-0.73volts. If it is not rotate the TPS clockwise or anti clockwise untill you have a reading between 0.63 and 0.73 volts Hope this helps you. V-tec |

Hi all
Hello V-tec
I have managed to get the TPS bit of looking in to workshop manual and it dit worked. TPS set to 17 at present. Bike runs fine only when you let go of gas at low rews kinda seems like it wants to cut of but open gas is all fine. Just reminder the bike did need some - lots of TLS she has been neglected, but bit of :love7: and she will be good. (so far new swinginarm, chain sprockets, serviced the engine, NGK iridium, K&N air filter, Remus cans ) The front forks need refurb - busshings seals the whole lot :110: |
