Q for SW-Motech Quick-Lock EVO owners
 

Hi all,

I recently got reminded again the hard way that failing to apply loctite can and will result in loss of parts on a thumper.
While riding with the side carriers removed (I always remove them as well if I don't plan to use the panniers any time soon) one of the quick-lock mounting points came loose.

I know there's a few of you out there with this system installed on the Tenere. If anyone still has the installation manual, can you have a quick look at the part numbers for the following parts of the top back RHS adapter:
- bolt
- nut
- spacer
- the small mounting plate that is attached to the bike with the above kit, where you lock the side carriers into with the quick-lock system.

the company that handles SW-M import here doesn't want to send me any separate parts without me providing the part numbers :rant2:
