Yes it all depends on what your after.
My night riding would be minimal and more so out on an adventure ride i would be doing the days riding in the daylight... and for those un-forseen events that keeps you out pass dark that's why i went for the battery helmet option.... to give extremely good light "pointing with helmet direction" is far better for tackling tricky terrain at night instead of having all lighting fixed straight ahead. (this is my main reason for the head mounted option) Also the AY-UP system IS very robust don't you worry about that! and it too! can be hard wired to the bike if hard mounting is prefered. That enitre package that i showed doesn't mean the whole lot has to packed on the bike either. I take the light, 6hr battery and the charger, all very compact and takes up minimal space..... unless you tend to take the kitchen sink on a bike and space is rare. I should also ad.. i was going to add some fixed lights to my ten. but i have done the highbeam mod on my tenere and found this to give me the light i need for the open road so therefore its great in the bush too.. and so the helmet option is a "piece of mind" set-up for when things get tough. cheers Reg |

Looking for some additional lighting for my bike. Atm I'm weighting between hellas and solstice - anyone tried or saw / compared them both?

using these
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=140536514621 very very bright, reasonable price, more of a flood light than a spot but very good for those dark winding roads that I seem to always be travelling (for those that know the area - north of Warrandyte Victoria), much better than the 55w Navara spot lights that I was using previously.
