       Rev Limiter

       Hi
I bumped into a guy yesterday...probably a bit of a know-all but know-nothing.. He reckons the rev limiter on my 06 XTX can be switched off with a few presses of the buttons on the clocks.... Bullshine or otherwise ????? Kev http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/m...kevlon/XT1.jpg |

       Hi
It's a CaptainKev tail tidy...I chopped the back off and stuck an led light I got from R & G racing under the rear protrusion....tiny little indicators (top left of the number plate) came from Ebay :001::001: I took the Remus pipes in and had them powdercoated black too...now they blend with the bike a lot better... Not too sure you can do anything for the rev limiter on the XT but my mades got a pegaso (same engine) and you can change the revs at which the limiter comes in at. It does work as i tried it and changed from 6700rpm to 6000rpm and was suprised that it wasnt just a gemic.
