Just put down an order for ONE OF THESE myself and would be interested to see where others have mounted theirs. Pictures anyone?

Tool tube from ebay / adventurespec with a made up bracket.

Any use?

Tool Tube Bracket

That bracket is great, i assume you made it yourself ?

Aye another example of me attacking steel with a grinder and hoping I still have all my fingers left at the end of it.

Front mount onto MTC single can supplied bracket. From memory some spacers needed to keep the bracket 'straight' with the line of the bike.

Hey, great stuff. I guess I'll have to get my hands dirty and try something similar. Seing as how it has two mounting points I guess it's stable enough as well?

Very strong. Make a pattern up with card first to get the mounting holes positioned correctly.
Others have them mounted off pannier racks. I don't use panniers so had to come up with something.

So, I just got mine mounted.

Not the prettiest around for sure, but it's well solid.

I couldn't use your bracket fiddich because I need the mount for my stock panniers (until I save up for some new ones). So here is what I came up with

Symmetrical? No
Pretty? No
Sticks in place and carries tools? Yes! :D

I just received my tool tubes. I will be mounting one either side. Underneath the original exhaust. My plan is to mount them on the inside of the SW Motech pannier racks. The bottom mounting hole will fit nicely on the bolt holding the front bottom slot ring. The top mounting holes will be attached to a small alu triangle that I will be attaching to the rear bottom slot ring and the L-piece where the panniers are locked to the rack.
When I get around to actually doing it I'll make some pics to make the idea a bit more clear.
