Update on Yamaha bash plate & engine guard

I have a new Yamaha bash plate it has been redesigned to be 4 mm thick ( I think the old one was 3mm) and has more meat around the rear mounting points.

I see the engine crash bars have been discontinued, I suspect they got fed up not being able to make them not break.

yeah it looks good.. BUT GBP200 is a LOT of money for a bash plate IMO

It's not just the bash plate. You get the engine bars as well because the bash plate mounts to the engine guard.

My dealer tells me that Yam are re-designing their engine bars. Should be avaliable in about 4 weeks.

We shall see.
