However its not strictly 100% waterproof as a small amount gets in through the stitching on the joins at either side where it hangs over the rear seat. I get round this by using dry sacs for clothes or sleeping bag etc which double up as waterproof carry bags to take your gear into accomodation.
Other than that the bag works well, is extremely hard wearing and is made of a HD rubberised plastic which never slips or moves and you can strap other bags or tents to it as I did in the piccies.
Out of 10 I give it 8.

You will not regret it.

This was the first time I have ever done this and on my own. Loved every minute of it. Looking forward to visiting the Lakes on GULG's XT660.com camping weekend.

I will also be planning a new trip soon-probably Europe. I have got he adventure bug now!
