Yam dealer in Surrey

Good morning all.
I have just not long moved to Godalming in Surrey, and wanted to know if anyone could suggest a GOOD yamaha dealer out my way for parts, services etc ?

Hi Mike,

Are you a diy-er or do you just require main dealer service?
For servicing and in order to maintain service history for warranty, I use the Motorbike Shop in Farnborough (ex-Infinity bike sales) as that's where I bought my Ten just over 1 year ago. Although trail bikes aren't the biggest sellers, after 39,000 miles they've had my bike in a few times and the same guy who PDI'd it has serviced it every time so familiarity should help keep servicing time/cost down.

Top of my list for spares (ie consumables) is Wemoto and is a great excuse for a blast down the A283 from Milford/Godalming when you've left something to the last minute on a sunny Saturday!!

Gordan Farley (trials specialist) in Guildford is often good for the last minute diy jobs eg. rim protectors (for tyre changing) and as I found out today they sell both cable core and sheath off the roll for cable repairs or custom build.

It goes without saying though:
"May your search engine be with you" :toothy5: :ebay:

Cheers,
Rick

Dear Mr. Parker,

please have a look at the listing of our threads and the subdirectories, we pretty much have a pigeon hole for every topic of discussion. This one for example belongs here:

http://www.xt660.com/forumdisplay.php?f=9 Dealer, Purchasing, Insurance & Warranty

The Newbie Reception Lounge is just that, a place for newbies to loose their cherry and introduce themselves to the mob, and for everyone to meet them and greet them. All other topics must be posted in the relevant section.

Thanks

You can use this link http://www.yamaha-motor.co.uk/dealerlocator/?mm4=GB to find out your closer dealer.

Anyway dealers are all the same: they're all nice to you when you want to buy, and the day after you parted with your cash they don't want to know you anymore.
