Yasmaha are giving 5 new Super Tenere's to Riders for Health

I have been sent an invite to a sort of competition by Yamaha.

Yamaha are donating 5 new Super Teneres to the Riders for Health organisation in Africa.

They will be riding them from Paris to Marrakesh and then handing them over.

The first stretch from Paris to Lisbon will be done by previous legendary Dakar riders, then they want 5 mere mortals to ride them on to Marrakesh.

I (presumably because I have ordered one) have been sent an invite to compete for one of those 5 places.

I have had to answer a couple of questions to decide my suitability and a photo of me and my current bike in a creative setting.

The trip is due to take place from the 12th to 18th May.

Results due on 19th April.

Fingers crossed - nothing ventured - nothing gained.
Ray

I would if I knew how to do it !

This was the one I sent, It's a bit difficult taking photos of both me and the bike as I am normally on my own.
Billy no mates.

Yeah, good idea of Yamaha to support the good cause and at the same time promote the new Super Tenere XT1200Z. But to be honest, ya might ask if the S10 is the proper bike for bushdoctors: pretty heavy, high-tech with lots of electronic devices and how about servicing? Ya might think they'll need a simple lightweight bike with easy diy-maintenance.
Anyway, good luck OGR, hope you'll be the lucky one! If so: ENJOY!!

I thought that too. Most of the bikes they have already appear to be 100cc 2 stroke Yamahas. At least looking at the web link that appears to be the case.

Edit... Also Africa Twins ?
