I did consider this, I'm still trying to figure out if the movement is due to the 'longer lever' , or movement within the riser/holder/bar (and the square it forms) assembly. in other words is it the 'square' that is moving or the whole assembly moving in the rubbers.

In any case I'll try it before doing anything, and it's not the end of the world anyway

Clearly, any movement there is going to impact the vibrations at the bar end, so I'll not be rushing into anything (although I can always put the bars on the TTR, it could do with a bit of a rise too)
