Kev fuel mod & DNA Stage 1&2
Thought i loved my xtx before.. Went for a very short ride this morning with the Kev mod fitted and DNA stage 1 & 2 fitted...
:luuurve: words cant describe!! the bike runs AMAZING now, soo much better than before especially for cruising and power is on when you give it a squirt, so much smoother, can really feel the 660cc all through throttle range now, not slugish Big thanks to Master Kev :computer: And also :CM: For organising the filters and fuel mod more prompt than 747 touching down, cheers guys and to anyone out there 'considering' this mod... :hidesbehindsofa[1]: stop considering and DO IT!! you will not be disappointed :mbounce: P.S. Does the power commander make this much of a difference? It's twice the price of the fuel mod and filters together :cya: |
As I always say more air more fuel XT = HP & Torque
Glade you are happy with the result, you can double those gains again when fitting a stage 3 air box. Fuelling devices are there to correct the A/F ratio, they are not fitted to show big HP gains. A power commander with a custom made fuel map will smooth things out more for you, but at a cost. |
I agree with you fully, i was one of the sitting on the fence type thinking there cant be a massive difference with the stg2 and kev fuel mod but there is a massive difference. Dont know how i lived with out it.
So if your reading this and dont have a Stg2 filter and kev fuel mod, save the beer tokens for a week or so and buy it, you will not regret it. |

I am waiting for my stage 2 to be delivered. Got the stage 1 and kev mod already done.
After reading the above, I'm going to be like a kid waiting for Christmas day now! Can't wait to see what difference is made! Will I need to change the kev mod much after fitting the stage 2? A... |
