I wonder how good they sound :)

Calsport (clicky) have had them listed for a fair while now, not cheap mind...
I have a Remus system on my Speed Triple and it's pretty quiet for a straight through absorption silencer.

Remus are the worst customer service and back up from Performance parts I have ever encountered!.............. I will never buy another Remus or deal with the company again. Mine cracked around a poor weld after 13months with zero help and appalling after sales service.

I am surprised and this goes to show that for every product there are a thousand good stories and the odd bad one.

Funny enough, contrary to your bad experience I have used Remus cans on most of my previous bikes and have always rated them for both performance and manufacturing quality. In fact my XT was one of the few bikes to which I didn't have Remus on. And of course when Simon Cope was running Carbon Can Co. I came to the realization that they were as good as gold.

But I have to say I have friends from all sort of biking genre and Remus are held with quite a status, which is why I am surprised that you had a bad experience with them.

We've have had not less than 3 Akrapovic owners here that have had cracking weldings on their Akra's and if you ask around everybody quote Akras as the best.

You have raised some good points.. I do however expect zero poor service after paying over 300 pounds for a single can only to fail with a poor weld(cold lap). BMW no longer sell Remus and nor quite a few others.

Whatever the company there is no excuse for poor service and I expect at least some sort of resolution. Remus and Performance Parts offered zero help and the attitude from one of the directors of Remus was embarrasing. I wont post the emails back and forth but you can be assured it wasnt good!
As a qualified fabricator and welder I do know a little about quailty welding and decent fabrication. Its all ok until people try dealing with some of these companies.
