I ride with the Arai SZ/F, jethelmet with face shield. Fits well, low noise and very comfortable. Next one will be the Shoei Hornet DS(white or silver) or the Shoei Trial helmet(see pixs).

I use a Caberg Justissimo GT...

Flip up lid I like, and has an internal "fighter style" flip down tinted sun visor.

New to the forum so this might be discussed elsewhere: but if you are looking for a new helmet it is worth looking at the new SHARP Government helmet tests Linky Dinky

Airoh S4, great for offroad, a little bit noisy at high speed, but I can wear my enduro glasses inside.

I still have my Shoei XR1000 (it's the second one I own) and I use it for daily commuting

And a couple of motocross helmets, but I never use them with the ten.

I have 3 helmets:

First was the Nitro (not sure of model) MX helmet a bit like this one:
http://www.nitro-helmets.com/product_images/mx422r.jpg
I loved the looks and fit, and during the summer enjoyed the airflow even when using goggles. However flies etc would often manage to hit my top lip (felt like being shot with a BB gun), which left my eyes watering on a couple of occasions which is obviously not safe. Also I found it near impossible to stop goggles from steaming ridiculously quickly in the winter.

So next I found myself with a KBC Force RR:

I got this as a spur of the moment purchase: I was riding past a bike shop disgruntled because I had been hit in the lip a few times that day, so I decided it was time to move over to a 'road style' helmet. It fit me nicely and was within my budget so I went for it. TBH it isn't that bad of a helmet, although when turning your head (lifesaver) at higher speeds you get a gust of wind aimed right into your eye, something to do with the front vents I think. I also found that the visor steamed quite easily in the cold weather, but I never really tried to do anything about it (use anti fog products etc) so I'm not really complaining. I also very much missed having the peak to hide some of the sun.

And last but not least, the Airoh S4:
http://www.dirtbikexpress.co.uk/imag...cts//302_l.jpg
After forum raving and ranting about it I went for it, and on the whole I like it! Not fond of the 'quick release' buckle after habing two double D loop helmets but not that much of a fuss. I purchased this helmet for 3 reasons:
-I decided both of the other helmets no longer correctly fit (padding compression or my head has got smaller lol)
-I missed the peak of the motocross helmet, but didn't want the goggle issues
-It would look SWEEEEEET on the XTX!

I love the look and weight (lighter than other 2) of the helmet. I was very annoyed to find that with the visor fully shut there is a very loud whistling noise coming from the visor peak. I had read about this before purchase and people suggested turing your head a few degrees to the side. However I found you have to turn it a considerable distance which is uncomfortable. The solution I found is to open the visor a tiny bit, just a few mm, which removes the sound. The other 'beef' I have with this helmet is that I get the same air gush into my eye during a lifesaver, however it is not as bad as the other helmet. This could be to do with the slightly open visor. Also as others had said, when the visor is 'locked' open half way the edge is right in your sight of vision, however I never ride like this.

I do very much like this helmet though, I plan for my next helmet to be:
Airoh S4 in WHITE!!

I have 2 full face helmets.

My first helmet I got was a Shark RSI in Brazil pattern.

http://www.helmets4u.co.uk/images/rs..._kgy_angle.jpg

Lovely helmet and very well built. The release mechanism is very robust and easy to use. Handy when you need to wash both sides of the visor twice daily due to all the muck from the road.

Unfortunatly I get a pressure spot on my forehead from the shark so it gets uncomfortable after an hour of so. That was ok for my regular commute but when I had some longer journeys come up I had to get something more comfortable.

Thats when I discovered I have a very expensive head shape (very long oval). So far the ONLY helmets I've found that fit me are Arai Tour X-3, Shoei Raid II, and the AGV GP Pro which I bought , pic below. I like to be seen :)

The AGV is very comfortable and looks fantastic in the flesh. The yellow/orange is more or less flurescent so it REALLY stands out, perfect for ensuring that dozy drivers spot you. :toot:(thats's my excuse anyway!)
