Filter Swap & PC3

I bought both Stage 1&2 filters and a PC3 off Yilt on here.

Fitted them Saturday (well Yilt did - cheers mate :023:), first go today coming to work (weather has been appalling here!).

If anyone is thinking of doing the above then do it!

Big difference, much much better. So much smoother, no noticeable surging/jerking.

Too short a ride to estabilish if the extra couple of horses is noticeable, but so worth it.

:applause:

I totally agree, did exactly the same on my first XTX, total transformation. Throttle was so nice after and you do notice the extra ponnies.

I hope so - could do with a bit more poke!

So, guesstimates as to BHP increase? I need to update my Sig

51bhp now? Am still using standard cans.

As above, the surging is normal unfortunately but there a few things to sort it out.

I did the CO adjustment first, and this definitely helped a bit.

However, fitting a Power Commander 3 in addition to Stage 1 & 2 air filters really sorted it out. Not cheap but I managed to get them second hand so cost me less than 200 notes in the end.
