Looking good mate, keep them coming.:happy1:

cheers Kev

it makes you appreciate how much time and effort is needed to make things like long way round and mondo enduro etc

Nice vid fella, I kinda do it for a living, the filming etc, I know how much of a ballache it can be!
Which part of the Fosse did you do? I'm trying to work out which sections to ride from Alexis' posts and yours.
Cheers

Hi Camera is just an old NIKON coolpix 3200 as I dont mind getting it dirty

The section of the fosse I did is only a small section in Leicestershire it runs from Fosse Meadows near Sharnford to High Cross on the A5.

I am also interested in trying to do the whole route maybe we could organise a ride sometime in the New Year.

Get a few of us from the forum to meet up and do the ride.

I like the look of the Fords Alexis did but I cant find where they are

tripletom 03-12-09 21:50

Little meet up sounds good to me. Be nice to ride the whole road, maybe with a camp halfway...?

Stridey 03-12-09 22:18

I have been following this thread for a while and may be interested in a ride along the Fosse too.

Obviously I live at the southern end so would probably opt for North to South so that when I am good and messy I can go home easily. Perhaps those in the Northern end good go in the opposite direction and we could meet up around halfway?

cheers

Makings of a good 'meet&ride' here, I reckon! I'd definitely be in.

stuxtttr 06-12-09 14:47

Been trying to work out the whole route there are a few sites that help but the info is hazy to say the least.

Seems the majority is tarmac, but I think it would be a long day ride or an easy overnighter.

I don't mind which direction we travel in as I am kinda in the middle.

I dont have a GPS though which would be a bonus so we dont miss the best sections.

Yeah the four wheel drives have heavily rutted some of the track and the recent rain won't have helped but its ok

Follow the track along through lot's of gates ! a pain but they are sometimes
open on the map it looks like the tracks a dead end but keep going and you come out through a final gate and up a grassy track to the end where you will meet the junction at bumble bee lane and high cross road where they both converge and meet the A5.
