It works well keeping the worst of the weather off your legs while being toasty warm. I was concerned that the lower bit would wrap around my feel but when secured properly its fine.

I have Touratech handguards without the extenstions.

You can just see in the pics I drilled a small hole in the muffs(there is a wee stud in them) for the bar end bolt and washer to hold then in place. I found without this the muffs moved around a bit.
