Winter gloves/Handlebar gloves

Going to be riding into london in december so need to get some winter gloves or handlebar gloves.Has anyone used these handlebar gloves/mittens on an XT660 or any other bike before.
I really want to know if they fit the XT660 due to mirror position and if they are any good with keeping your fingers warm.
Also would like to have some feedback regarding winter gloves. If i dont buy the handlebar gloves it will have to be the winter gloves so can anyone give me a good few links to some quality, preferably cheap winter gloves (was made redundant hence cheap) Or even better if anyone has an old set they would like to sell.Gotta be in fairly good condition and water proof obviously.
Cheers

Checkout these babies, Heated grips underneath these and you are in heaven. Unfortunately you have to wear thin gloves and turn the heat down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!:woo:
