Cant see any reason why i'd need to take it out but yeah, another good idea. |
2 questions here, Kev:
#1. From you experience, what's the minimum amount of space that needs to be left between the brass weight and the inner wall of the bar ? #2. Is there any reason that makes brass a recommended material for the inner weight (over, say, steel) ? |
The first mod I done was to make a set of vibenators , Pack the bars with sand to the 2nd bend with corks pushed in to hold it in place , a set of heavy stainless steel end weights.... all worked but still had vibes though the bars...
By far the best mod was a set of ROX anti vibe risers... killed the vibes all but 100%... useing the ROX risers gives 2 sets of anti vibe rubbers.... Another good point with them is you can lean them forward or aft to put the bars where you want...makes the bar postion totaly tunable... http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/...1/SAM_0070.jpg http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/...1/SAM_0071.jpg |
