LED Flasher relay, will it work with mix of LED and BULB indicators?

Hi guys, a quick question regarding LED indicators (not the usual why is it flashing fast lol).

I will be having LED indicators on the rear, but plan to keep the standard bulb indicators on the front. Will putting an LED flasher relay in to slow down the LED indicators further slow down the front bulb indicators?

I can't get my head around it, as the front bulb indicators will obviously have higher resistance than the rear LED indicators, so when the new relay slows down the flash rate for the rear indicators, the front ones will also slow down, to an even slower rate? Surely this would not happen though?

Thanks

Harry

There is a set on ebay, 29 I think, that are direct replacements for bulbs (they have the right resistance).

I keep considering them, but I'm focused on other areas right now!

A LED flasher rated up to 20W or more (all the ones I have seen are this way) have a solid state relay and the timming is based on an internal resistor/capacitor network, it is not based on the load.

In short, the answer to your question is NO, fee free to use them. I do prefer the 3 wires type 'cause they don't have the delay that 2 wires have,

have fun,

j.
