Alarm / Immobiliser Problem
 

Hi, I picked up my new 660r on Friday and have also bought a Cyclone V2 alarm. Well, my first problem is that it seems the previous owner didn't pass on the Red master key when he PX'd it.

I have two black keys, so I am happy to stash one somewhere very safe and hope not to lose the other but I'm a bit miffed as I've heard it's expensive if you need to replace the whole ignition system.

The second problem is fitting the alarm itself. It comes with its own immobiliser / remote start but I am not interested in installing these and the vendor has given me instructions as to how to do a basic fit; however, I am a bit concerned that if I start tampering around with ignition fuses the immobiliser may cut in.

Does anyone have any experience / advice in this area?
