The piping on the cloth bike clearly shows it's a parallel twin. Still no confirmation that the 1200cc/130hp figures are coming from Yamaha what I can see?

Sorry in advance for hijacking, but Jenny, aren't you supposed to be, ahem, racing tomorrow? I hope this whole Super Ten subject isn't going to distract you :seasaw:

Hee hee - just got back in from a meal out with the other riders on Patsy's team...

It will be the last proper tucker we get for a while I imagine!

Got to get my head down now - it all starts tomorrow morning!

Toot toot!

Jenny xx

ps. yes, really liking that new super ten' concept... Ohlins 2WD would really top it off!

I think Ohlins are back to owning the 2wd tech now as well, so I'm not sure we'd see a Yam with it on.

The photos look very like the thing my son made with his mechano the other month. It went missing! However later turned up wrapped up in some of my daughters dolls clothes. It looked even more like the photo then.

With others really, still not enough to actually see. Concepts are all very well . . .

I read on one of the many snippets here and there that it will be 2011 before it hits the road, then you'll need another 12 months before the aftermarket catches up.

Personally, I thing the Tenere and Super Tenere will be poles apart, the single appealing to the more adventurous, and the S10 aimed at reducing the BMUU share of the market. Not like the bikes of the 90's

They are just trying to gauge if there is enough interest in this to take it into design, that what I think.

It will be like comparing the BMW 650 Single to the GS1200 Adventure, aimed at too different markets

The 660 will still be going strong and I don't think that it will be a replacement

tripletom 22-10-09 17:28

I concur, I'll start saving my pennies though as it would be nice to have one to take the g/f out on.

Judging by the colour scheme it will be built in Glasgow in time to enter the Peebles - Dalkieth Rally Raid 2010.
