Hi

I've just fitted some tiny led indicators to my XT...rears only....they're flashing fast...I have an led relay to fit...anyone know where/how it's done ?

many thanks

yep that's because you need a relay box.

Or you can make your own.

Thanks Kev

I've identified the relay...mine has brown and brown/white wires though (maybe UK colours?)

The guy has supplied me a 3 pin relay for the led indicators though, terminals marked B, L and E...any ideas ??

Cheers

Kev

The wire colours can change with the different year XT660's.

I should really answer this question in the ASK section as I offer this kind of help to supporters. Anyway I will help you out since we have gone this far.

This is how it should be wired up, you will have 3 letters on the new electronic relay B,L,E..

B= Signal flasher input.
L= Signal flasher output.
E= wired directly to earth

Brown wire to B on flasher unit
Brown/White to L on flasher relay
Wire the E on the relay to the earth side of the battery or a earth point on the bike.

Hope it works as most LED relays are marked, X,L,P, or X,L
