Givi / Kappa
 

I have had 2 1/2 months of grief trying to get a set of rails for the Ten, i had already bought the panniers (V35) and ordered the Kappa rails (kappa/givi same company and made in same factory) they arrived and they were welded wrong, photo's /emails /phone calls / 2 months. 2nd set delivered - 2mm gap between l/h rail and exhaust 20mm r/h side. phoned, suggested i call Givi uk, did and they had sold 4 sets and no issues :icon_frown: so ordered a set of Givi, arrived and welded up wrong :dontknow: ffs. Phoned, 2nd set sent next day fitted last night (4th time and can do it in 15mins now) and they fit :rockwoot: .
never had a problem with givi stuff and its always been top stuff but something has changed on the quality side, i went to buy the new E55 box and after looking at it decided not to even though i could get it @ same price as the old E52 the new locking mechanism is cheap and ****e, spring loaded catches which look and sound like they would last a week.
