As capt says - i sell 'em. click on the name 'peatbog' in the top corner of this post and then go from there to send a PM. Cheers. :023: Pete. |
I've PMd Peatbog and Gsty had no response from either... But I need a rack! Is there any other alternatives??
Thnx |
Peatbog is having pc problems so cant get on line, think he has sold out of the racks but a new batch is being made as i am looking for one
|
Ok thanks for that...is anyone in touch with him? His racks look really nice and ideal for me.
I bought the bike to go twitching too, and need to get my scope and tripod on the back (too big for a top box or panniers). ...I sound like an anorak don't I!! :( Until I get a rack I'm a bit stuffed, and will have to find something else to do. :lovers[1]: |
Aye
Yeh I`ve contacted Peatbog for a rack as well and he has told me he`ll let us know when a new batch is ready. Sooner the better ,,they are superb looking bits of kit! |

You could go to TT, but you will pay more for it, and no guarantee it will arrive in time for the summer...... Prior to Pete making these, I purchased a TT 1200GS one of Ebay, then made a nylon mounting that fits into the locator holes for the Yamaha Top Box ( I also had the topbox at this time). It took ages (mainly because nylon is a git to cut, shave, carve etc) but it works well. |
well lets give peatbog a chance -I'm like any kid with a new toy...i just want to get playing... :laughing11:

Its worth the wait. I have a Peatbog rack and its pure quality. Not to mention considerably cheaper than the alternatives. Follows the lines of the bike well also.
I believe I might have been the last, or one of the last to get one before he ran out just before Christmas. When I spoke to him he did confirm that there was another batch going through both black and natural alli. Regarding birding, We have lots of Redwings, Fieldfares and Lapwings (flocks of 200+) in the fields behind our cottage. Seems they have been pushed down here by your cold weather in the UK. Thanks guys, quite a spectacle. |
